An uncommon music, unclassified, visual, protean, absorbing their roots from jazz, pop and contemporary music, composed and improvised, world music, as well as in theatre, paintings or even from comic strips.
By laying the perspective, in using the travelling tactics proper to the cinema, the original musical pieces created by Jaster becomes genuine “multiple dimensions “musical fairytales” , in which each instrument traces simultaneously its own visions of things.

Four French musicians, renew with originality and obvious talent the art of the quartet ! Here plays the common code, the different roles are redistributed. «Without us feeling obliged to assure the official functions of our instrument, we play in a flexible way to multiply and densify the sonorous textures» Therefore, the instrumental allotment is different from one piece of music to another. The bass becomes often the singer, the clarinet often becomes a « didgeridoo », the vibraphone, Javanese gamelan….
Immersed in water, under earth, under the ordeal of fire, willingly blown by air… the music of Jaster becomes, organic. Dynamic and changing, it transports the listener from a frenetic trance to serene meditation. On stage, their incredible intensity while playing, creates a music that is both profound and lively.
