Jun Miyake ’s album “Stolen from Strangers”, is on release in Canada where it is licensed to Do Right Music, as of August 18, 2008.

David Byrne & Brian Eno have a new album on release: “Everything That Happens Will Happen Today”.
4 August – “Strange Overtones” released as free download single from the album and available from www.everythingthathappens.com.
18 August – “Everything That Happens Will Happen Today” available as a download only album from www.everythingthathappens.com.
An enhanced CD and a deluxe package CD will be available later. This is the first release from Byrne/Eno since “My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts” came out in February 1981.

The Warsaw Village Band (Jaro) from Poland just entered the World Music charts Europe edition of August with their reggae remix album called “UPMIXING”. In France, this album as well as the new studio album will be out through Abeille Musique in October.

Arto Lindsay will be in Europe in September and might do some interviews with Jun Miyake for the forthcoming release of Jun’s album “Stolen from Strangers” on Enja Records, end of October.

Jon Hassell and Maarifa Street will be featured at the Punkt Festival in Kristiansand/Norway, in great musical company: Gavin Bryars, Jan Bang, Brian Eno, Sidsel Endresen, Nils Petter Molvaer and many more. Brian Eno will have an installation at the event, called “77 Million Paintings for Punkt”.

A new work of art is featured at the Paris train station Gare du Nord: a very adventurous moving sculpture by artist Fabien called “Le Monde en Mouvement” (the world, moving), commissioned by the SNCF (French Railways), features music by Brian Eno and Peter Schwalm, which is set off every hour, on the hour. The music featured is “Night Traffic” , from the album “Drawn from Life”.
