Posted December 23, 2008Jun Miyake will be featured personality for the men’s department of one of the greatest department stores in Paris, les Galéries Lafayette. His photo, taken from his album “STOLEN FROM STRANGERS” and taken by photographer and artist Jean-Paul Goude (Grace Jones, Vanessa Paradis etc.) will feature in the store, but also in advertising campaigns including two big metro campaigns during 2009.
La Caravane Passe, gypsy rock klezmer band from Paris, have been invited to play two dates in Japan in 2009, including the 21st June in Tokyo, for “la Fête de la Musique.
The new Oumou Sangare album “SEYA” is ready and will be coming out soon – it is a brilliant album. Oumou again took center stage as a guest artist for the recent splendid Trilok Gurtu and friends concert at la Salle Pleyel in Paris. She is indeed a great diva and a wonderful artist.
