The Brownwood Bubblers series is created by reknown BBC DJ and artist Gilles Peterson, to put a focus on his new musical discoveries. RotFront is a newcomer to the German Essay Recordings label. This Berlin based band is a melting pot of global pop and East European sounds, where East meets West and North meets South. Now RotFront has come flying out of the starting blocks, showing how polka and klezmer can be heated up further with smouldering southern rhythms (ska, cumbia) mixed with reggae and hip hop. Release in France in September through distributor La Baleine.
